Ideas:

• Everyone should live within 1/2 mile of a park.
• Have cell phone plans be logical (more pay-as-you-go)
• More holidays! At least one per month.
• Sales tax should be included in the advertised price - and no more pennies!
• Less criminalization of recreational drugs

• extend the dead-end freeways (the 2 and 710)
• add lanes at bottlenecks (East LA)
• create a network of dedicated bicycle lanes/roads
• subway along Wilshire
  
• subway along Ventura Blvd.
• build a network of streetcars:
• downtown LA streetcar
• Venice/Santa Monica streetcar
• Hollywood streetcar - maybe going down Fairfax
  
• Pico Blvd streetcar
• widen the 5 freeway to Orange County!
• extend the "gold line" to Ontario Airport, and to Whittier
  
• build free parking for Metro riders (like 12 hours free parking with a valid Metro ticket or day pass)
